Hi there! I’m Keller Makemson, a Graphic Designer and Creative based in Bloomington, Indiana.

I’m a multidisciplinary designer working across branding, publication design, illustration, wayfinding, and visual storytelling, with a foundation in studio art spanning graphic design, painting, ceramics, fiber arts, photography, and illustration.

I earned my BA in Studio Art, with an emphasis in Graphic Design, from the University of Montevallo in May 2020, and I’ve been freelancing since 2017. My work has ranged from collegiate athletic departments and global organizations to small businesses and nonprofits, with a focus on thoughtful, community-centered design.

I currently work as a Graphic Design Specialist at the Monroe County Public Library, where I develop print and digital communications for public programming and community engagement. Alongside this role, I maintain an independent freelance and studio practice through kmakemson.design and kmakemson.art, where I explore branding, illustration, mural work, as well as fiber and ceramic arts.
